how can i help?

I am happy to provide therapy sessions to individual adults and youth, as well as parents/caregivers/families of all ages, shapes, and sizes.  My approach to psychotherapy is from an Attachment Science-, trauma-, and neuropsychology-informed perspective, however I make use of a variety of therapeutic modalities and tools to meet the needs of my clients.

Some of the issues I can help you address include:

  • Struggles related to Depression and Anxiety

  • Self-esteem struggles, perfectionism, and harsh inner critics

  • Difficulties related to ADHD/Autism, including ADHD coaching

  • Identity-affirming LGBTQIA+ support

  • Parent-coaching, bonding

  • Navigating complex family dynamics

  • Understanding interpersonal relationships, including romantic relationships, family relationships, friendships, and professional relationships

  • Stress management, coping strategies, and communication skills

  • Managing life transitions, such as break-ups, relocation/moving, and career changes

  • Parent-coaching, including attachment-security, parent-child bonding, navigating co-parenting struggles, and adjustment to becoming a new parent

  • Grief and loss

With Whom do i work, Where, and how?

I am happy to offer both in-person sessions and online sessions/e-therapy, depending on the needs of the client at hand. If appropriate, online sessions are offered to clients via a secure video-chat platform (Owl Practice).

  • I enjoy working with clients of all ages! I regularly see individual adults and youth**, as well as parents and families.

**Where clients are children under the age of 13, my preference is always to include parents in our work, at least periodically and while still respecting client confidentiality; this includes a parents-only session at the beginning of our work together.

  • To schedule a brief complimentary consultation or to speak to me directly about working together, please feel free to contact me here. To discuss working together specifically through The Oak Centre for Child & Family Psychology, please feel free to contact the clinic directly.
