how can i help?
I am happy to provide therapy sessions to individual adults and youth, as well as parents/caregivers/families of all ages, shapes, and sizes. My approach to psychotherapy is from an Attachment Science-, trauma-, and neuropsychology-informed perspective, however I make use of a variety of therapeutic modalities and tools to meet the needs of my clients.
Some of the issues I can help you address include:
Struggles related to Depression and Anxiety
Self-esteem struggles, perfectionism, and harsh inner critics
Difficulties related to ADHD/Autism, including ADHD coaching
Identity-affirming 2SLGBTQIA+ support
Pressures related to racial and cultural identity
Parent-coaching, including attachment-security, parent-child bonding, navigating co-parenting struggles, and adjustment to becoming a new parent
Navigating complex family dynamics
Understanding interpersonal relationships, including romantic relationships, family relationships, friendships, and professional relationships
Stress management, coping strategies, and communication skills
Managing life transitions, such as break-ups, relocation/moving, and career changes
Boundary-setting and exploration of identity/personal values
With Whom do i work, Where, and how?
I am happy to offer both in-person sessions and online sessions/e-therapy, depending on the needs of the client at hand. If appropriate, online sessions are offered to clients via a secure video-chat platform (Owl Practice).
I enjoy working with clients of all ages! I regularly see individual adults and youth**, as well as parents and families.
**Where clients are children under the age of 13, my preference is always to include parents in our work, at least periodically and while still respecting client confidentiality; this includes a parents-only session at the beginning of our work together.
To schedule a brief complimentary consultation or to speak to me directly about working together, please feel free to contact me here. To discuss working together specifically through The Oak Centre for Child & Family Psychology, please feel free to contact the clinic directly.
